You can access the advanced search options by clicking the settings button on the right side of the search bar.

You can also use the advanced search option manually by using the following syntax.
* Using the minus sign (-) in front of a word, excludes results containing that word.
* Using quotes around a phrase ("cat meow") searches for that exact phrase.
* Writing the name of a library, followed by a colon (golden era library: cat) searches for that word only in that library.

By default, Soundly will use its inbuilt thesaurus to search for sounds with similar names used in the search phrase. You can disable this option in window->settings under the search header.
