Yes, you can if the database is located on a network drive that is mountable over HTTP.  Most NAS and server systems support this.
Soundly supports common protocols like **WebDAV** and **SMB**. Instructions on using WebDAV are available within the Soundly app under **Database** -> **Connect to remote sound library**
