What is Dock-mode?

Dock-mode places the Soundly interface on the bottom on the screen. When enabled, only the necessary tools for a good workflow are clickable: the searching tool, search result, and the waveform frame with editing tools.

If you wish to go to Settings or Store click Undock and you see the standard view.
