How do I find similar sounds in the Soundly Pro Tools Extension?

Find Similar finds sounds that resemble the audio you select. You can use audio from the extension or from your Pro Tools timeline.

Use Audio from the Extension

1. Select the audio range in the extension’s waveform view.
2. Click Find Similar.

The results appear in the extension.

Use Audio from Pro Tools

1. Select one clip in the Pro Tools timeline.
2. On macOS, hold Cmd and click Find Similar. On Windows, hold Ctrl and click Find Similar.

You can also drag one Pro Tools clip onto the extension window to find similar sounds.

Find Results in the Soundly App

Install the latest Soundly app before you use these options.

For audio selected in the extension’s waveform view, hold Option on macOS or Alt on Windows and click Find Similar.

For a selected clip in the Pro Tools timeline, use the keys for your platform.

• On macOS, hold Cmd + Option and click Find Similar.
• On Windows, hold Ctrl + Alt and click Find Similar.

The Soundly app opens the search results.
