What a year it’s been, and thank you for being part of it!

In 2025, we supported projects that remind us why we build Soundly, and we kept improving the tools we use every day. Here are some of the highlights:</a>

Supported Axel Drioli’s recording expedition across West Africa. Watch our new film about how a single bird call led to it all. Added 33,263 new sounds to the Pro Library Released Find Similar, Pimp My Soundly, the Premiere Panel, and Final Cut integration Rebuilt our server infrastructure to ship features faster, with minimal disruption Expanded integrations with more game engines and editing platforms

These features matter. But just as important to us is discovering how people use Soundly, and talking to our users every day to keep improving our platform.

Whether you’re editing video, designing sound for games, producing a podcast, or cataloguing bird calls like Axel, thank you. Your feedback shapes everything we do, so please keep it coming.

Thank you for being with us, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store for 2026!

Wings Across Continents: West Africa is a collection of bird calls and natural ambiences recorded by Axel Drioli of Sounding Wild during an expedition spanning many months through forests, wetlands, and rural areas in West Africa. The library captures varied ecological zones and times of day, offering detailed recordings of species and environments. Using ambisonic rigs, parabolic discs, and ORTF 3D arrays, all sounds are delivered in 96 kHz, with stereo and binaural mixes included.
