Midsummer Madness: New Summer Sound Packs!

Soundly's summer newsletter, featuring new summer-themed sounds, was all set to be sent out. But our Swedish sound designer Hans had a last-minute idea: to show us his home country's traditional midsummer celebration. So he dressed us in white clothes, flower crowns and whisked us off to a park.

After a week of recovery, we're finally ready to present four new summer-themed sound packs, which you can read below. We've even recorded one where we sing Swedish midsummer songs! We don't remember recording it, but it sounds like we had a blast.

Hear the peculiar celebration of our Swedish neighbor's Midsommar festivities. Nothing gets the Swedes more hyped than "nubbevisor" aka drinking songs, wearing floral wreaths on their head and dancing around a tall wooden pole, or in this case, a microphone stand. Skååååååål! #midsommar

Water Activites

The studio gets extremely hot in the summer, so we decided to bring our microphones and some semi-random items to a quiet lake to cool down and get some new sounds. You'll find swimming, floaties, splashes, and thick and juicy submerges, above and underwater, to cover a wide range of water activities in your scenes. #wateractivities

Water Fight

One is never too old for a water fight! Enjoy this pack loaded with an arsenal of water guns and splashing water balloons. Our recording gear might've taken a hit in the process, but it was worth it! #waterfight
