Our latest update, released today, has revved up Soundly's capabilities—giving you a user experience that’s more streamlined and robust, minimizing delays and maximizing your creative flow.

The new Soundly version also includes exciting new features like FMOD integration, Studio One compatibility, and support for 7.1.2 and 7.1.4 monitoring setups , all designed to make your sound design workflow even speedier, easier, and more fun!

Major New Soundly Features

FMOD is a popular game audio middleware, and our deep integration with FMOD Studio allows users to, among other things, send files directly from Soundly to the Timeline sheet of FMOD Studio Events, enhancing the workflow for game sound designers.Read more.

One of the most requested integrations this year has been Studio One, and after working with Presonus, we are happy to announce that Soundly now lets you send files directly to the timeline of this widely-used DAW. Read more.

Strata is an innovative sound library by Audiokinetic that includes the REAPER sessions used to design the sounds. Soundly now automatically detects Strata files, and by right-clicking a sound, you can open the associated Strata project in REAPER.

The Apple Silicon AAX plugin lets users on the Apple Silicon versions of Pro Tools use our popular monitoring plugin. Our latest update brings native compatibility with Apple Silicon across all features of Soundly.

Soundly now supports 7.1.2 and 7.1.4 monitor setups, allowing you to listen to 7.1.2 and 7.1.4 files routed to the correct speakers.

Access sounds from the same recording session in the Soundly Pro library from the file options menu. This feature aids in achieving a more cohesive and comprehensive audio design.

In Soundly settings, you can add a prefix and suffix to filenames on export. Using an asterisk (*) in the prefixes and suffixes now adds random characters to the file name.
