Soundly News | Sounds Like Home: Mexico City

<!doctype html>

No city sounds the same, and Mexico City proves it. Our new film follows sound designer Arturo Zárate and film editor V. Manu Medina. Together they show how the city’s everyday sounds, from the calls of tamale vendors to the whistles of sweet potato carts, bring truth to the stories they tell.

Alongside the film, we’ve released a Mexico City sound pack recorded across neighborhoods from dawn markets to late-night streets. Because real places deserve real sound.

Enter the pack’s hashtag in Soundly’s search to find all sounds. In newer Soundly versions, you can also click the package to open it directly.

#mexicocity
