Turn Back the Clock with the Red Library!

Last February, I was thrilled when Soundly added The Golden Era Library to their amazing collection of sounds. These important classic Hollywood sound effects were nearly thrown away, but are now being used for all sorts of projects all over the world. Since then, I have continued to preserve the former USC optical sound effects library. And now I’m extremely happy to present the next collection of classic sound effects: The Red Library.

In Case of Emergency

In our quest to offer the most complete and up-to-date sound library, we have been adding even more sound packs to the Soundly Pro Library. This time we’re focusing on emergencies, with sounds such as sirens, ambulance interiors, crime scene ambiances, and more.

We’ll never stop updating the Soundly Pro Library, and today we are excited to reveal three new sound effect packs: Rallycross, Formula 4 and Crosskart / Gokart. The audio team at Storyline Studios expertly recorded the sounds, visiting iconic racing tracks such as Bugatti Raceway! Travel in Time with The Golden Era Library

Last August, I completed the preservation of 1,233 vintage optical sound effects from various Hollywood productions ranging from the 1930s to 1950s. This is the first part of a larger project I’ve been working on for nearly three years. This collection contains many sounds that give us clues about how sound effects were created during the “golden era”.
