Last August, I completed the preservation of 1,233 vintage optical sound effects from various Hollywood productions ranging from the 1930s to 1950s. This is the first part of a larger project I’ve been working on for nearly three years. This collection contains many sounds that give us clues about how sound effects were created during the “golden era”.
